NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board took on statutory duties from 1 July 2022 as part of Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System and the changes brought into force by the 2022 Health and Social Care Act.  Integrated Care Systems are partnerships of organisations that come together to plan and deliver joined up health and care services to improve the lives of people in their area.

There are four parts of the Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System:

NHS Frimley - The Integrated Care Board (ICB)

decides how our Frimley NHS budget is spent and develops plans to improve people's health, tackle health inequalities, deliver higher quality care, and better value for money.  The ICB makes the decisions about how health and care is planned and paid for locally.

Frimley Public Service Partnership - The Integrated Care Partnership (ICP)

brings together the NHS, local authorities, voluntary and community sector and other partners to shape and develop our strategy to improve health and wellbeing for the people who live in Frimley.

Frimley Provider Collaborative

brings together providers of health and care to work on the planning and delivery of services, to design transformative improvements, and deliver the best care for patients and communities.

Place-Based Partnerships

in each of our five places give residents, their families, and communities the opportunity to respond to their unique characteristics and tailor the delivery of health and care services to best meet local needs.

NHS Frimley took over responsibilities from NHS Frimley Clinical Commissioning Group which ceased to exist at the end of June 2022.

Key Items for discussion at the first public ICB meeting include:
