Want to share your views on local health and care services?

At Frimley Health and Care, it is essential that residents, patients and staff have an opportunity to shape plans and that those working on transformation programmes have an understanding of what people feel is important.

Our Community Panel is a vital part of this work – a growing group of local people and communities who share their thoughts and experiences to help us improve the way services are designed and delivered.

The online panel is designed to help us gather the views of local people, test our assumptions and theories and keep people updated about local health and care services.

This will help us to understand the needs of our local communities - what is working well for people and what the challenges are.

We're always looking for more people to get involved. If you live in the area (Ascot, Bracknell, Farnham, Maidenhead, North East Hampshire, Slough, Surrey Heath and Windsor) and care about local health and care services, we’d love for you to join us and have your voice heard.

Sign up today

In order to become a member of the panel we ask that you are 16 years old or over and live in the geographical area covered by Frimley Health and Care.

How does it work and why should I sign up?

You will be helping to improve health and care outcomes for people all across Frimley Health and Care. You will also find out about new plans, including service changes and ideas related to health and care.

Joining the panel will means we will share regular news and updates as well as engagement opportunities such as surveys.

We will work with system leaders, staff teams and voluntary sector organisations to establish the priority areas that would be most helpful to gain the views of the panel members.

The results of these surveys will be shared with participants and published online. They will also be shared with relevant teams across the system to help them to shape their plans.

We may also contact you to take part in in local discussions, forums or focus groups if this is something that you would like to do.

All participation is voluntary and you can opt out of the panel at any time.

What we have heard from our panel

In September 2023, we refreshed our Online Community Panel.

Below are the responses to the surveys our panel have participated in.

The survey ran from 29 September - 10 November 2023. We had a total of 190 responses.

This survey was designed to help us better understand:

  • how aware people are of the flu vaccination

  • eligibility criteria for free vaccinations via the NHS

  • likelihood of receiving a vaccination this year

  • views and feedback on why people feel the vaccine is important and any reservations that people have about receiving it

The results of the survey have been shared with the teams responsible for developing the vaccination programme in Frimley.

You can access the survey results here (opens as PDF)
